It strikes me as I read from afar that the Liberals are just lazy. They pick up one Nation policies after Malcolm and Pauline have flown the flag and tested the waters, boldly. They seem to suddenly remember that they have to be different. They need to different from the Labor party not a pale shadow of them! Apologise and promise a proper enquiry into covid, defund and reduce theirABC, get rid of net zero, build dams and power stations, get rid of fuel excise altogether, reduce or stop immigration till a careful look at the unskilled non English speaking and disruptive element is deported. Make a high level of English a prerequisite. Be bold. The Tories lost and will continue to lose because they are a pale imitation of Labour.
Make the states enforce their laws on hate speech and move against these disruptive Arab protests. I think we have all had enough of being afraid to go into CBD’s and areas of the cities.
Fix universities. Make them seats of learning not propaganda. Defund gender studies, make the English requirements of foreign students higher.
Institute and enquiry into the aboriginal cash cow.
Above all be innovative, proactive and work harder. Listen to the people. I am not voting for the Coalition. One Nation and Family First have my vote.
Duttons budget reply speech seemed to indicate he had learnt, but since then his handlers have scripted pussy footing speeches and toned down appearances.
Maybe the LNP is really just Labour Light?
Gutless and stupid is all I can call the LNP and Dutton.
I personally support the Libertarians, sensible policies and only absolutely minimal govt.
Yep, we are shot ducks. Until the sensible Conservative side can find a Leader who has the courage to tell the truth about net zero unobtainable madness , and the climate change scam, unsustainable immigration, woefully underprepared military, shamefull education standards, and, for our kids, the soul destroying impossibility of ever acquiring a quality free standing family home.
What would our Great Grandparents say about the state of the country?
Thank you for this extremely important and profound contribution to the election campaign. I hope Dutton reads it. Or at least a member of his staff. Your are so correct. So very constructive. Please, if you know any Liberal staffers at all, give them copies of this for Dutton's eyes. Please tell him to wake up. For the sake of our country. Thank you again.
I dont support the LNP and Dutton is my Federal member. He and his lot clearly dont deserve government.
They have shown themselves incapable of seizing the ball and running with it. Rather just pass it round and give the illusion of action, when there is none.
We are headed for a very bad place which will take decades to get ourselves out of with Albo and Dutton.
The basic problem is that half the Libs want the same things as Labor, just without the trade union influence. That makes it so hard to differentiate from Labor without losing your own side. While winning the centre is always the winning strategy, you must offer something distinctive to win them. Apart from nuclear power, there isn’t much. Dutton’s task is enormous.
Nationally and globally we are headed for very dark times. We need a strong leader with integrity, not a clown show. Unfortunately the clown show has the backing of the main stream media, majority support of the activist class, and the backing of some billionaires whose best interests are catered too by the socialist left. Add to that mix a reasonably apathetic electorate who respond to handouts and are easily distracted. Apparently we live for the moment and fail to comprehend what's ahead for that's when sound leadership will be required. It's was required three years ago. Peter Dutton is the adult in the room but is surrounded by some pretty imposing obstacles. Our only hope is that the final poll delivers us a serious government for serious times.
don't know what is going on with Liberal party who's new "me-too" strategy appears to be backfiring and so far not landed any blows on the albo circus troupe - which isn't helping my ulcer. This party is still wandering around in a fog since their annihilation... both at federal and state level and no lessons learned yet. The ghost of their squandered 3 terms still fresh in our minds as none of those mistakes corrected or addressed in this campaign . Dutton lacks the charisma that the fake Albo has in spades and has failed to annunciate what the "new" liberal govt will do differently to the current mob. The other unknown is the Trump tariffs factor and how this will play out on voters here.....but looking like we will have another 3 years of insufferable suffering courtesy of C Bowen et al
The entire Coalition Campaign lacks energy . Mr Dutton slumps along as seen on TV, his face showing no animation or expression. Maybe this is not possible, but his attendants around him also show no positive expressions. The actual policy announcements are clouded with criticisms of labour and loose clarity and focus. I advise some crispness and clarity. We all know Labour
deficits ,lets concentrate on our policies and lets be more precise.
can someone ask anyone in the Liberal party if they can tie their shoelaces??? this election was theirs to win from the incompetent Albo but looking more like the only the effort they are making is not getting elected
Electorate particularly with the Australian energy
Market operator telling us energy bills will rise $200
1 st July as a result of net zero targets ( which are a fantasy). On the current trajectory Labor will put us into a recession by then the energy changes needed
Will make the transition very painful. Secondly target young people particularly women on their podcast shows, media platforms and Tik Tok and finally target swinging voters in outer suburban seats particularly in Victoria and NSW

Like the Tories they stand for nothing.
Absolutely good ideas.

On the money as usual John.

Spot on - with one comment, I would suggest 'a completely apathetic electorate'.
